He is a person that always look for excuses. He has spent so much since his regime. Too many flops signings. Because of his decision of wanting to sign Barry, Alonso left Liverpool.
I would love to see Guus Hiddink in charge of Liverpool. He admits he would love to return to England, fuelling reports he could replace Rafael Benitez at Liverpool in today's soccer report. He can spot for talents unlike Rafa Benitez. No young talents since his regime (Liverpool used to have young prospects like Gerrard, Owen, Fowler, etc)! He will have a good relationships with the players. Look at what he did in Chelsea for last season! Then Liverpool plan for a bigger stadium will be fulfilled very soon as he will not spend too much just like Arsene Wenger! So it would be a win win situation! If Liverpool continues with Rafa Benitez, they will struggle to finish 4th for this term. Man City will be Liverpool's main threat to finish 4th for this term. Man City will buy more quality players in Jan. As for Spurs and Villa, they will still battle for 5th spot as the same old story will end just like in the past (They always lose their gas in the end, no mentally toughness in them). |
